The New Trend: Armani dresses SGH-P520

There were rumors travelling around regarding Prada’s encounter with Samsung producers with the purpose of developing a fashionable model, but it seems like a part of the cards were played wrongly. The new SGH-P520 model that will be released by Samsung soon enough wears in fact Armani’s fashionable touch, representing a reply to the Prada and LG phone. Although things would have been more interesting with two versions of the Prada cell phone line on the market, Armani’s presence isn’t at all disappointing.

Samsung SGH-P520 has a bit to offer, featuring: a 3 megapixel camera and 50MB internal memory, being quite light at 8.9mm thin and 102 grams. In order to capture Armani’s essence, the design lacks some bits, like the keypad. You may think that holding a cell phone is all about pushing the buttons, but technology has advanced a great deal lately and as a plus you won’t feel your fingers hurt anymore. The price of Samsung SGH-P520 will be about 400 euro (just to know how much Armani’s print is worth) and will be released by the end of this year.

A New Line from Sprint

Sprint’s Q4 list has been recently updated with a couple of exciting smartphones and cell phones, making the offer impossible to say no to. The official line includes: HTC Touch, Blackberry Pearl 8130 or also known as Blackberry Pearl 2, Palm Centro and LG Rumor.

These handsets are already famous by name, but what do they bring along? To begin with, HTC Touch enjoys a full touchscreen technology, then there is the RIM Blackberry Pearl 8130, followed by Palm Centro, being the slimmest Palm OS style with internal antenna, and finally the LG Rumor which comes with a sliding QWERTY keyboard.

How does it sound to you? Pricy would be the first term in mind to define the situation and we believe that indeed it will be. However, as long as their price hasn’t been announced yet, one can dream and also pray for a cost reduction miracle. The one thing that matters after all is that Sprint has done it and whatever the price of these wonderful looking gadgets, it will be their value’s worth.

If Cells are in, Teens are out in California

One thing we did expect from the honorable governor of California and that is to bring in harsh laws, but we certainly couldn’t guess the decrease in popularity among the teenagers. Yet, it happened. By inflicting a law that prohibits teens to use any kind of hand device during driving, the ex-Terminator surely pulled out some screams from our angry youth. We tend to believe that Mr. Schwarzenegger proved one good point by saying that people under 18 are easily distracted and inexperienced and should pay more attention while being behind the wheel.

And now to the exciting part: what is the punishment that the teens breaking this most necessary regulation should endure? You would say a good beating, being erased from the face of the Earth or something similar, but you would need a reality check. In fact first time offenders will be fined $20 and $50 for succeeding offenses. It isn’t that bad and in comparison with what the governor could do to you, you should always be ready to pay up.

Sony Ericsson welcomes the Konan Concept Phone

In the matter of revolutionary accomplishments, Sony Ericsson promises plenty and the new Konan: Beauty Renaissance 2.0 concept phone plays a big part in this scenario. Why is that, you may wonder? Because this unusual looking, pale-colored handset will not only change the way we think about our handsets, but most of all the way in which we use them. Sony Ericsson’s producers have been pretty vague in explaining the misterious ways in which they will manage that, but we can only expect a huge surprise.

I guess we have started your appetite for the new with this announcement and it will be a while until we’ll be able to satisfy it and all because of Sony Ericsson’s need for privacy. We just hope that this new candy-bar handset design and features will be as destined - a brand new technology provider – that will keep both Sony Ericsson and us happy. I mean, they won’t call it Konan Renaissance for nothing.

The Watch is ringing on the Chinese Market: the C1000 Watch-Phone

For those of you who have been wondering what the Chinese are up to, the answer may come quite disappointing: taking care of the watch-phone production and nothing more. It is disappointing because we were expecting some surprises from the Eastern side of the world and for the moment we will just have to settle with the same old, although it comes in the shape of the newly appeared C1000 model.

This GSM watch-phone features: USB and Bluetooth (A2DP) connectivity, a 1.5 inch touch screen, character recognition software (useful if you happen to speak fluent Chinese, of course) and multimedia functions (audio and video player) that rely on 60MB of internal memory with no option for expansion.
imobile-c1000-2.jpg
To be fair, we must say that this IMobile watch phone brings something new that can be considered an accomplishment and that is the honor of being the smallest touchscreen watch-phone in existence. Unfortunately, we cannot say how much it will cost you to become a record holder, nor the time IMobile’s C1000 will be out, but a little more patience won’t harm anybody.

T-Mobile Offers HTC Juno with a Plus

If you consider running on Windows Mobile 6.0 Professional and having a TouchFlo interface to be a plus, then T-Mobile has reached its goal with the HTC Juno. I guess the first thing you’re wondering about is what HTC Juno represents. We cannot shed much light on this aspect because its name hasn’t been decided yet, but for sure it will include a slider form-factor and an incredible touchscreen display.

Further than that we could go, but we would step on fantasy ground and there are too many possibilities to take into consideration. However, there’s one detail that would look good on this handset – a Qwerty keypad maybe – but for a slider phone it would be too much to ask. If we got your curiosity started, you’d be happy to know that we expect the HTC Juno to receive a warm welcome given by the interest T-Mobile invested in it.

Samsung’s SCH-U470 on the Scene

It isn’t out to get it yet, but we expect it to be soon enough and the warm welcome will come as a bonus for the SCH-U470 model. Samsung has really done it this time by offering us a swiveling handset showing a pretty slim and sleek design. What does it have to offer, you wonder? We’ve got some info to please your eyes: a camera, Bluetooth with A2DP, microSD slot and a sturdy bit of Flash memory to boot.

Other than this, the rotating concept is definitely one aspect to keep in mind while you’re out for the handset hunt. We don’t know the date of its release, but we are sure to keep you posted, for the SCH-U470 should be one of your many choices to have at hand.

AT&T’s Motorola Q9h Blooper

Launching a teaser site about the Motorola Q Global or more commonly known as Q9h is the solution AT&T has come up with recently after its largest CDMA rival had already launched its own version of the Windows Mobile 6.0 Standard handset. It is kind of a childish gesture once you think about all the fans that are waiting for an October release. AT&T should really think about it twice whenever recommending a clueless site, not revealing any real launching dates on a long awaited model as the 9Qh.

Also, they should reconsider their marketing strategy (if that’s what this is) when changing the name of the 9Qh into Q Global – everyone knows it’s the same thing and the attempt to prove otherwise is just beneath them.

If your femininity reaches the point when you just cannot keep a less representative handset in your purse, then Motorola’s U3 PEBL Pink version will give you all the fashion taste you’ll ever need.

To begin with, you’ll be able to handle a 7.5×49×22.2 mm body along at EDGE speeds and a weight of 105 grams. And to fill in the blanks: it is in fact a clamshell wearing the most lady-like color there is.
motorola-u3-pebl-2.jpg
Yes, that’s right! It’s one pink Moto. The biggest advantage is that being fashionable won’t push your budget off the chart and you may stay safe with your handset not valuing more than 3 purses.

It isn’t Motorola’s star model, but it’s definitely fit for everyone, even the picky ones. We are not sure about the release date yet, but you can rest assure that you’ll be able to enjoy this device soon enough.
