Samsung SCH-r800 Delve with TouchWiz

Samsung and Alltel have just revealed a new full touchscreen device, the Samsung SCH-r800 Delve, which also comes with a 2 megapixel camera and with Samsung’s TouchWiz user interface.

The phone comes with a touchscreen of 3″ 240×400 pixel resolution, and the TouchWiz user interface allows users to drag-and-drop widgets onto a special home screen.

Main features and specifications: CDMA 800/1900MHz band; 1xRTT/EV-DO data; a main display of 3″ 262k color (240×400) touchscreen TFT; a 2 megapixel camera; video with Record and Playback; SMS, MMS, IM, and E-Mail (POP3 and web-based) messaging; Bluetooth connectivity; memory: 150MB internal, microSD card slot; speakerphone; GPS; a 3.5mm headset jack; TouchWiz user interface; 116.8mm x 55.9mm x 12.7mm, and 102g.

The Samsung SCH-r800 Delve is already available for pre-order, at the price of $199.99, but it will available in stores and online starting with November 7th.

Samsung Highnote M630

The Samsung Highnote M630 is a perfect device if you like music and MP3s-it is a device made for music lovers, and you can listen to it without the help of the headphones or car adapters.

Features and specifications: slider with bi-directional vertical action; carried by Sprint; CDMA 800 / 1900 network; 1xRTT/EV-DO (3G) data;display of 2” TFT; 262k colors, 176 x 220 px; it comes with 1GB microSD, but it can be expanded up to 16 GB; the phone also face slides up for keypad access, and down to reveal speakers; special music button for quicker media control; Bluetooth connectivity;GPS; Sprint TV; a driving mode; a 2 megapixel camera, with 4 X digital zoom, video capture, and night shot; 102 x 48 x 15 mm, and 99g.

Main advantages: music; loud and clear speaker; a 3.5 mm headphone jack; the expandable memory; dedicated music button; One Click carousel interface, from Sprint; Sprint TV and Music Store capable; click-able scroll wheel. Main disadvantage: no hardware media control.

Samsung Highnote M630 is available at the price of $99.99, through Sprint.

Sony Ericsson T303

Sony Ericsson T303 was created for users who are not looking for the high-end features, but for those who want quite a simple phone, with good basic features, and also a good looking device. That’s why, many of you might consider it quite a mediocre phone, lacking some important features.

Features and specifications: GSM900/GSM1800/GSM1900 network; Bluetooth and USB connectivity; a 1.3 megapixel camera, with 4 x digital zoom; LCD display; GPRS; Internet browser; WAP; memory:8; downloadable, MP3, and polyphonic ringtones; audio recording; call history; FM Radio; PC Sync; tasks; timer; dimension of 83 x 47 x 15, and a weight of 93g.

The main advantages of this phone are considered to be the metal cased compact slider design, the FM radio, the mirrored front, the menus, and the price. The main disadvantages are: the camera doesn’t have flash or autofocus; no expansion for the memory card; no 3G; no video capture; low resolution. But, as I have mentioned, the T303’s purpose was not the high tech features.

The Sony Ericsson T303 is available through O2, Orange and T-Mobile, in Silver or Black, at the launching price of £80.

Sony Ericsson W760

Whether the Sony Ericsson W760 is a good or a bad phone, is your decision; but Sony Ericsson W760 3G Walkman music phone is not such a special phone, but it isn’t common as well, as it comes with some good features.

The W760 has the following features and specifications: it is a slider; walkman music phone; it has the send/end buttons, a circular navigation control array, and two soft keys; at the top edge of the phone, we can find the Memory Stick Micro (MM2) slot; headphone jack; a 240 x 320 pixel, 2.2-inch screen; HSPDA; Bluetooth connectivity; message waiting; speakerphone; AAC, MP4, MP3, M4A, 3GPP, AMR-NB, AMR-WB, WAV, General MIDI 1, SP-MIDI, RealAudio 8, iMelody, XMF, WMA 8, 9 and Pro LBR support; SenseMe feature; a 3.2 megapixel camera, with zoom, white balance control, Photo Fix, PhotoDJ, and VideoDJ; HTML capabilities; aGPS; PC Sync; SMS, MMS, E-Mail messaging; 4.1 x 1.9 x 0.6 inches, and 3.6 ounces.

A pretty good phone, isn’t it? Or at least this is my opinion. ;)

Samsung S9402 DuoS

Samsung is already known for having several dual-SIM devices, and now here they are with a new device, the Samsung S9402, which is made of special materials,like scratch resistant display glass and metal frame covered with rhodium.

Its main features and specifications are: tri-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE radio-900/1800/1900 Mhz-for the first SIM card, and dual-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE radio-900/1800 Mhz- for the second card; a 2-inch QVGA screen; a 5 megapixel camera,with autofocus, image stabilization, smile detection, WDR and LED flash; FM radio; 1GB of internal memory, expandable with microSD memory cards; 115×48×16 mm, and 140g; it also relies on Bang & Olufsen/ICEPower amplifier, in order to improve the sound quality of the speakers.

Samsung S9402 was not officially announced, so we are still waiting for news, more specifications, price and availability. ;)

Nokia 2600 at AT&T

The Nokia 2600 candybar phone is now available at AT&T. You might think it is a cheap phone, because its price, but its features are not at all cheap.

Features and specifications of Nokia 2600: GSM/EDGE; a 1.8-inch display screen with 128×128 resolution; Internet browsing; Media Net interface; supports AOL’s mobile chat platform, Windows Live and Yahoo Messenger; a VGA camera; MP3 ringtones; speakerphone; Bluetooth connectivity; calendar, alarm clock, caller ID, and personal organizer; puzzle, sports, racing and other games; wallpapers, background, custom menus/popups, icons and other features; three hours of talk time and 16 days of standby.

Nokai 2600 is now available at AT&T’s online store, at the price of $150. It is not a high price, but the phone seems to be really good. ;)

LG Lotus black

The LG Lotus clamshell device is an interesting phone, with an eye-catching design, and it comes equipped with top features, and great performance. It is considered one of the best messaging devices at Sprint.

Its main advantages are: style, full QWERTY keyboard, a 2 megapixel camera, music player, 3G. and the One Click interface. And its main disadvantage is the fact that it lags when entering text and switching applications. But bellow you can read the full list of features and specifications.

Motorola Motonav TN20 and TN30 GPS Units

Yesterday, Motorola have launched two new devices, GPS devices, for RadioShack: the MOTONAV TN20 and MOTONAV TN30. Bellow, you can read more about each of them.

MOTONAV TN20 is really easy to use and it is excellent for a wide range of drivers. It comes with street names, turn-by-turn directions, a lot of searchable points of interest, and maps. Its main features and specifications are: 3.7 x 3.2 x 0.7 inches, and 5 oz; a display of 320 x 240 pixels; spoken street names and turn-by-turn directions; many searchable points of interests, like restaurants, gas stations, banks, etc; lane guidance; anti-glare 3.5-inch touch-screen; preloaded maps; automatic day/night mode adjustment; 2D and 3D map perspectives; zoom and move, with the help of a finger; speed limit display and warning; SD card slot for updated maps; USB port for charging.

MOTONAV TN30 comes with the same features as TN20, but it also includes NAVTEQ maps of the U.S., Puerto Rico, and Canada. Its features and specifications: 4.8 x 3.2 x .7 inches, and 6 oz; Bluetooth hands-free calling and Caller ID; hear spoken street names and turn-by-turn directions; Lane guidance; anti-glare 4.3-inch touch screen; preloaded maps of the 50 U.S. states, Puerto Rico and Canada; and the rest of the features are exactly the same as TN2’s.

Both devices are equipped with on-screen speed, distance, arrival time, elevation, and distance traveled, fast and short route options, advanced lane guidance, and speed limit display with warnings.

The two devices are available exclusively at RadioShack, at the prices of $199.99 (Motonav TN20) and $299.99 (Motonav TN30).

Far Cry 2 mobile game

It seems that the well known Far Cry 2 game will be available for mobile phones, soon. If you are a fan, you should be happy, as Gameloft said that the game will be very soon available.

If you don’t know too much about this game, we are now informing you that during this games, you will be able to fight on foot and motorcycle, in Africa. You will have 10 levels and you’ll fight against The Jackal and his evil horde. Grenades, flame throwers, mine detectors and sniper rifles will be available for you during the whole game.

The mobile game will come with really nice 2D visuals and atmosphere. Bellow, you can see the first screenshots, and we must say, they look quite impressive. We don’t know the exact availability of the game, but it should be soon….very soon. ;)
