AT&T’s Newcomer: Samsung 737

The 3G Phone family will be enriched at AT&T by the arrival of the sliding star: the Samsung 737 model. This fresh handset will stand at the side of the Ultra Edition SGH-717 and Ultra Edition SGH-727 clamshell and candybar phones and will look good at it.

By looking at the close ups it seems like the 737 will be a music-oriented phone (judging by the music-shortcut-key next to the conspicuous red dial on the front face) and 3G UMTS (likely HSDPA) and hopefully will include the 3 megapixel autofocus shooter that the European Samsung D900 and U600 get. Although not as slim as other Samsungs sliders, this handset is thin enough and the design is pretty reassuring. All in all, we expect this star to shine soon enough.
