Alcatel OT-I650 with G-sensor

We finally have some news from Alcatel. But the new device, the Alcatel OT-I650, is manufactured by TCL Communication Technology (China-based).

Features and specifications: candybar form; simple device; built in G-sensor (accelerometer): it allows users to switch between apps by shaking the phone; it also comes with a 1.3 megapixel camera, FM radio, Bluetooth connectivity, and some sport apps pre-installed, like the pedometer. And basically, this is all; the phone doesn’t have too many features, it is simple.

The Alcatel OT-I650 will first be available in Black and Orange. It will be first available in Russia, and then in other countries, at the price of (about) $120.

New Alcatel Playboy phone

Even if CTIA Las Vegas 2008 is quite slow and there haven’t been so many new announcements, some exhibitors know how to entertain, like Alcatel.

The Alcatel booth wasn’t the biggest on the show floor. They didn’t have amazing hardware,but they did have, however, the Alcatel Playboy phone and a bunch of hotties around the booth.

Alcatel Playboy

Alcatel Playboy phone is a Playboy-branded Alcatel OT-V770A mobile phone for the bunny-lovers. It is available in three colours,like Gold, Pink, and Silver metallic trim, and plays up its Playboy affiliation to the brim. The Playboy phone sports a 1.3 megapixel camera, media player, full-screen video playback, 10MB onboard memory, and microSD card slot, exactly like Alcatel OT-VV770A, with the addition of the Playboy logo and embossed metallic rear-panel.

It doesn’t have extraordinary features, but it is 10mm thin and it is considered quite stylish. The Alcatel Playboy phone was only one of 15 handsets that Alcatel announced today. The new lineup ranges devices from sporty and rugged to stylish and refined; but Playboy got the centre of attention.

Alcatel in the Bag with Mandarina Duck Fashion Phone

There hasnâ€™t been much to tell about Alcatel lately, but it seems like the Mandarina Duck handset has managed to ensure one fast and promising come back as it spells fashionable in more than one way. The target surely refers to the ladies and the screaming color versions show it clearly enough: cherry red, lilac and green with color-coordinated graphics.

The device features a rather small 128Ã—160 screen, MP3 player, stereo Bluetooth, VGA camera and the microSD expansion slot. In addition, Alcatel is bringing along a bag clip, to allow its (mostly female) users to easily attach the phone to their bags and not lose it in the depths. You can also easily accessorize it and be sure that this easily attachable gadget will most likely become a part of your daily routine. Alcatel Elle No 3

Alcatel Elle No 3 is a simple phone with some extra features. This TriBand GSM phone looks quite stylish and seems to have been created to appeal to a certain genre only. The design is quite innovative and the specifications are as it follows: the Elle phone comes with a TFT, 256 K colors, provides some embedded images and animations, has a 1.3 mega pixel camera and video.

The quality of the images is not up to the mark may be this is because of the resolution or display but this is an utter disappointment. This phone has a 12 MB internal memory as well as GPRS and Bluetooth. The Elle No 3 does not come with any EDGE, which was quite predictable. This handset has a MP3/AAC Player and it supports Java MIDP 2.0.
However, this phone is appealing through aestethics, it comes with combination colors, pink and white and can be called a girlâ€™s gadget as we came to know that the other model is in yellow and green color.

Alcatel OT-E801

The Alcatel OT- E801 is a smart, slim and light music phone with MP3 player. This is a Network GSM900 / GSM1800 mobile phone with antenna Internal. It weights 76 g (including battery) and measures 96.5 x 45 x 17.5 mm. The E801 comes with built-in music player which allows the user to play back standard MP3 music files. Indeed to make life easy there are three dedicated music keys built-in to give instant access to your tracks. The company claims the unit normally comes with a 128 MB Micro SD disk as standard, although this can be expanded up to 2 GB if so desired. Better still, the card is accessible via a side slot, so the battery doesnâ€™t have to be removed.

The screen is more than adequate for the purpose and the colours are bright. Overall, the E801 and given its price point, we are not at all surprised to find there is no camera, Bluetooth connectivity. infra-red capability nor a WAP browser.
