Apple iPhone 3G accessories

If you are a fan of Apple iPhones and you have already bought one of their products, that you should know that there are some nice accessories for your 3G iPhone mobile. The six new Apple accessories are the Apple iPhone 3G Dock, the Aliph Jawbone 2, the Apple iPhone Bluetooth Headset, the Infinixx Bluetooth A2DP adapter, the Kensington Mini Battery Extender and Charger for iPod and iPhone 1G, 3G , and the Mophie Juice Pack for iPhone 3G.

The Apple iPhone 3G dock is docking station made for the iPhone 3G. The dock can be used to charge and sync your iPhone 3G, but also to connect it to a stereo or speakers to play music.

The Aliph Jawbone 2 is a nice Bluetooth headset, available in Black, that comes with noise-canceling and voice-enhancement technologies that give a great sound quality. Unfortunately, the Aliph Jawbone 2 doesn’t have a volume rocker, and the LED light is located directly on top of the Talk button. Still, it is considered the ultimate Bluetooth headsets, because of its design and sound quality.

The Apple iPhone Bluetooth headset is a nice device, available in Black. It is very easy to use and it comes with a charging dock and USB cable. The bad part is that this device lacks some basic features, like call mute and redial, and it doesn’t have a volume rocker.

The Infinixx A2DP is a small adapter that adds stereo Bluetooth capability to the iPhone. It costs around $60.

The Kensington Mini Battery Extender is an add-on for an iPod or iPhone that’s low on battery life. It attaches via the dock connector. This device also comes with a retractable USB charging cable. It is available for $40.

The Mophie Juice Pack 3G is a portable charging dock for the iPhone 3G that is supposed to extend the battery life. It promises an additional 350 hours of standby time, 6 hours of talk time on 3G, 12 hours of talk time on regular 2G, 6 hours of Internet use on 3G, 8 hours of video playback, or 28 hours of audio playback. It will be available in September.

Iphone 3G is Out

Yes, the new Apple Iphone 3G is ready, and stores have already sold it. You know most of the new things on the cellphone from here. I hope it will be better than the first version, I didn’t get the opportunity to get my hands on one yet, but I really don’t want to put together another top 5 reasons why Apple Iphone sucks.
GPS and 3G is good, better battery and improved placement for 3.5mm audio jack are also nice, but the most spectacular feature is the price. At $199 it can be a best buy for many, but hey, if you feel the need for more information check out the guys at testfreaks for more mobile tips.

Nike+ workout system

Although it was not announced officially, several sources said that Nike company and Apple are going to introduce on the market the new Nike+ system to iPhone and iPod. Even if nobody from Nike or Apple confirms this, bringing Nike+ to iPhone is in the advantage of Nike-take into consideration the popularity of Apple.

Nike+ is a kit that records the distance and length your run or walk, with the help of a small sensor in the shoe. Nike+ was originally designed for iPod nano but then it was modified to support iPhone and the iPod Touch. I am sure that Nike+ will work well with iPhone, even better when the 3G handset will be released.

Nike+ is made of a wireless sensor that sits inside the shoe, and a receiver that connects to the iPhone, with the help of the 3G technology. Using a Nike+ Ready Footwear, the sensor will give you the details you need, like time, miles and pace, which will be displayed on your iPhone, and iPod screen.

Java comes to iPhone

New Zealand’s Innaworks has just revealed that Java-based games will come to iPhone. They have introduced a beta version of the software, which is considered to respond to demands for Java support on the iPhone by at least ensuring developers can tweak their titles to run on Apple’s platform.

It seems that the application is designed to instantly port a standard Java Platform, Micro Edition (Java ME) mobile game to iPhone and iPod touch without manual adjustments. The testing period has already began and the company is inviting developers to participate by signing up to try the software on the company website.

New 3G iPhone by Apple

We’ve been informed that Apple is getting ready to launch the new 3G iPhone in the US. Considering the reports that Apple’s placed a 10 million unit-strong order for iPhones with Taiwan-based Hon Hai (Foxconn), we’ve heard that the 3G iPhone will be indeed launched at Apple’s Worldwide Developer Conference in June.

It is rumored that the 3G iPhone will debute at WWDC and will be offered in three variants, with different price: 8GB ($399), 16GB ($499) and possibly a monster 32GB ($599) variant. The launch of 8GB and 16GB 3G iPhones is quite solid, but the launch of 32GB 3G iPhone wasn’t confirmed yet.

It seems that Apple is going to give an impressive 2.5mm giving the 3G iPhone a slim-advantage over the current iPhone. The casing material will also be revised in order to get a more “high-end” and less “plasticy” feel. The 3G iPhone will have an Infineon-based S-GOLD3H 3G chip that will enable HSDPA speeds up to 7.2Mbps. But it wasn’t mentioned whether the 3G iPhone will be equiped with a front-facing video-call camera that is supported by the Infineon S-GOLD3H 3G chip.

Now, we just have to wait until Apple launches the new device on the world market; the official launch is scheduled at Apple’s WWDC in June.

iPhone brings CrazyKart 2

Crazy Kart, a French-based mobile game, made by Int13, brought the new Crazy Kart 2 game to the Apple iPhone.

We still don’t know a lot about this, but rumours say that we should expect 320×320 pixels playing area, on-screen virtual steering wheel, 3 vehicle classes (karts, motorbikes and hovercrafts), 6 characters with different vehicles, downloadable content, and WiFi online multiplayer mode with match making and up to four simultaneous players.

Originally, the game was created for Windows Mobile and Symbian platforms, but it was not too hard to adapt to iPhone. They are also still searching and evaluating the alternatives, like tilt control and landscape display support.

Crazy Kart 2 is scheduled for July, but until then you can see a demo video on the youtube.com site

Apple and Orange Orchard in France

Although you may think that mixing apples with oranges is one way road towards a salad mania, as far as cell phones are concerned it’s not such a bad idea. In fact, the French collaboration between Orange and Apple may just work out as long as Orange keeps the key that unlocks the precious Apple Iphones. The locked handset version will retail for €399, but we’re still left in the unknown wondering how much the unlocked version will be worth. You may start worrying about this subject and you’ll go on for a few weeks because the official launch is set for November 29.

Meanwhile you can also think about your choices and decide if indeed an Orange unlocked Iphone is just the thing for you, especially taking in consideration the pricy circumstances, because there is no doubt that these opened Apples might as well be golden when you consider their value.

No Green-Peace for Apple

One thing Apple should have kept in mind when producing the IPhone was to leave out of the recipe some apparently toxic chemicals that no other respected cell phone company would find irreplaceable. There are plenty of examples Apple could have followed, including Nokia, Motorola and Sony Ericsson, but the fact is that they didn’t and now Greenpeace is knocking at their door. It seems like after disassembling one of the Apple IPhones, the environmental specialists found some forbidden chemical substances wondering about: “brominated compounds in half the samples, including in the phone’s antenna, in which they made up 10 percent of the total weight of the flexible circuit board.

A mixture of toxic phthalates was found to make up 1.5 percent of the plastic (PVC) coating of the headphone cables”, according to PC World. What is there left to say except the fact that dark clouds are coming Apple’s way and this fight won’t be pretty.

iPhone Meltdown Experience

If you’re a rather experimental fellow and are willing to put your iPhone’s existence and functionality in risk in the name of science, our advice is: quit while you can. If not, you can end up like someone who recently tried to unlock his iPhone and ended up provoking a short circuit followed by a meltdown 9and it isn’t because of the global warming, that’s for sure?). I mean, how much can an iPhone take?

There is a limit for most things and I guess we have just found out how far the iPhone can go. Let this be a lesson for all of us: don’t do it at home!

Apple iPhones rolling on Volkswagen Vehicles

If you ever wondered what Apple’s choice for wheels would be, you’ll be happy to know that the answer has recently popped up from Volkswagen. It seems like a partnership between the German carmaker and Apple based on the two companies’ desire to ride together has been unveiled. The main question is: will Apple design an iCar using Volkwagen’s experience in the field or will VW introduce vehicles with iPhone/iPod integration support?

We can safely say that the second option is more probable and less head aching. Meanwhile, we wish the two partners a safe trip with no bumpy roads ahead.
