It looks like BenQ and Siemens decided to make one last, but satisfying effort by releasing the S71 model. The designers must have really put their talents to hard work as one look at this handset makes you spell â€œbeautyâ€.

It has also plenty to put on the table, leaving looks aside: a 2megapixel shooter with dual flash, 3G, 2 inch QVGA screen, A2Dp Bluetooth and a video conference camera.

The clamshell handset will be proudly announced in Taiwan, but we can expect it to be also released on the international market soon enough.

The AL 26, is certainly a distinctive, fashionable compact slider mobile that tragets todayâ€™s style-conscious woman: en vogue and equipped with everything she needs for staying in touch. The BenQ-Siemens AL26 Hello Kitty is styled after the popular Japanese cartoon character, having detailed graphics and a charm accessory.

It is not a completely new phone, that is why its specifications are quite basic. The BenQ-Siemens AL26 has a 130×130 pixel display, but no camera, Bluetooth or MP3 player. It comes with GPRS, a WAP 1.2 browser and Java support though, that is why we can say it will meet most people’s basic needs. It’s a very lightweight phone, at just 78 grams. Despite this, the BenQ-Siemens AL26 has a pretty good battery life giving a maximum of 5 hours talktime and 9 days standby. BenQ-Siemens, say that the AL26 Hello Kittywill be available from August 2006. The phone will be available in two tri-band versions, GSM 850/1800/1900 for North America and GSM 900/1800/1900 for the rest of the world.
