Add-on from Blackberry

Blackberry has decided to agree to a partnership that will bring some joy to its customers, big names like CNN and ABC being involved. It seems like CNN and ABC News will provide Blackberry owners with video contents, thus keeping them in touch with the latest happenings.

Don’t start dreaming, though, cause owning a Blackberry isn’t enough – it has to run OS 4.2 or higher and maybe include a WiFi, or what was supposed to be the latest news could become yesterday’s because of the poor download rate.

We believe it to be a good strategy to attract clients, but not necessarily one from which the old ones could benefit. We cannot say how many CNN or ABC fans are out there, but surely the videos won’t be the main reason to acquire a costly handset as a Blackberry.
