New HTC devices expected very soon!

“Something beautiful is coming” is the name of the campaign made by HTC for their brand new devices, which will be officially launched on the 6th of May. But we already have some information about them, and some pictures. Enjoy!

HTC Touch Diamond is the first one. It features a 2.8-inch VGA screen, 528MHz Qualcomm CPU and GPS. Other features include 128MB of RAM, latest Windows Mobile 6.1 platform, an internal memory of 4 gigs, also expandable through the microSD card slot, and an accelerometer for automatic rotation of the user interface. But this isn’t all. The HTC Diamond is also equipped with 3G-with HSDPA and HSUPA support, as well as USB, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity. Its dimenssions are 51 x 99 x 10.7mm. The phone will also have another version-the O2 XDA Diamond.

The next device is the HTC Raphael. Its most important features are almost the same as the HTC Diamond, but this one offers a full slide-out QWERTY-keyboard. The phone has a 4GB internal memory and its dimensions are of 51 x 99 x 17mm.

Then, there is the HTC Titanium. The phone seems to be the successor of the HTC Touch Dual and it will probably have the same features, but this one comes with a 12 or 20 key slide-out keypad.

The HTC Touch Find will be equipped with a 2.8-inch touchscreen, with QVGA resolution; it also has Wi-Fi, a 3 megapixel camera, GPS and 3G with HSDPA support.

Another device is the HTC Dream Android, which is the first to feature the Android OS; but we don’t have any other information.

We will probably come with more after the official launching.

HTC Touch: special edition

Designer Nic Wong succeeded in putting his mark on HTC Touch. the result is four special edition devices. These phones have a special design, as you can see in the picture bellow, and I am sure they will have a great success. Well, it’s your decission which one of the four looks better.

These four special devices will be offered at auction, and the money is going to Singapore’s Children’s Cancer Foundation. The four HTC Touches don’t have any improvements, except the unique design; of course the Windows MObile 6 and the 2 megapixel camera are still there. ;) Probably those of you who want such a phone will choose the special edition variant, as it is more attractive.

HTC Touch Dual at CTIA Las Vegas 2008

The Windows Mobile smartphone manufacturer set up a shop on a small piece of Las Vegas Convention Center floorspace, this year, and came with another device for the market.

Now, HTC is showing off their Touch Dual. The Windows Mobile 6.1 smartphone has been floating around Europe with the Windows Mobile 6.0 Professional OS for a few months already, but now we are seeing it with Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional and available for US market. The Touch Dual takes the tried and true formula of the Touch, and bumps up the OS and hardware.

HTC has a TouchFLO interface that is overlaid on the Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional homescreen. The smartphone is thicker than the HTC Touch that has done so well around the world - the addition of a vertical sliding 20-key, SureType-esque keypad will do that.

A numeric 16-key keypad is expected in favor of the 20-key setup that HTC is showing off at CTIA Las Vegas 2008. The price of HTC Touch Dual is still unknown.

Good to be an Upgrade – the HTC 730 Model

If you’re into HTC’s sleek looking, hand sliding, soft touch models, this piece of news will give one more reason for a life worth living: the HTC 730 model is on the roll. We would like to add that this handset isn’t a HTC fan club exclusive, but its features are fit for anyone’s needs as far as mobile phones are concerned. What does this upgrade bring into the world?
htc_730-1.jpg
Source
Well, the passing from the 710 is ensured by the doubling of processer frequency to 400 MHz, a second camera for video calling and GPS. The side sliding Qwerty keyboard isn’t a minus where the design is concerned and its sharp look makes it pleasant to the eye.
htc_730-2.jpg
What can we say more? Except the fact that the release date is yet unknown, but by the look of the live pics, taking care of this baby won’t be a long shot. So, savor the waiting period and make it worth the while.

T-Mobile Offers HTC Juno with a Plus

If you consider running on Windows Mobile 6.0 Professional and having a TouchFlo interface to be a plus, then T-Mobile has reached its goal with the HTC Juno. I guess the first thing you’re wondering about is what HTC Juno represents. We cannot shed much light on this aspect because its name hasn’t been decided yet, but for sure it will include a slider form-factor and an incredible touchscreen display.
htc-juno.jpg
Source
Further than that we could go, but we would step on fantasy ground and there are too many possibilities to take into consideration. However, there’s one detail that would look good on this handset – a Qwerty keypad maybe – but for a slider phone it would be too much to ask. If we got your curiosity started, you’d be happy to know that we expect the HTC Juno to receive a warm welcome given by the interest T-Mobile invested in it.

Awaiting the HTC Panda Upgrade

If you’re looking for a smartphone holding small imperfections, then the Panda brought by HTC is one handset fit for you. Its features include: a 3.5″ 240×320 pixel touch sensitive display, a 2 megapixel camera, SD memory slot with SDIO capabilities, Bluetooth and WiFi support. All fine by now, too good to be true actually, but the problem is close by, ready to pop up: it runs on Windows Mobile 5.
htc_panda.jpg
We admit that we were expecting the 6.0 version and this is definitely called a flaw. Other than that, the design is perfect and its functions seems to go well. All things considered, it is easy to assume that the Panda’s upgrade shouldn’t delay much.

Canada’s First for HTC 5800

It looks like the Libra or HTC 5800 model inclines towards Canada, leaving the US a bit behind. Bell Canada is to blame for this by putting Canada first on the list when it comes to the HTC phone. The US has something to cry about, Libra featuring plenty: slide-out full QWERTY keyboard, a 2 MP camera, stereo Bluetooth, tethering capability and microSD expansion slot. This smartphone also runs on Windows Mobile 6 Standard.
bell-htc-5800.jpg
If you have decided on the HTC 5800, you should keep in mind the following price options: $149.95 CAD with a three-year, $299.95 CAD with a two-year, or $399.95 CAD with a 12-month agreement on Bell Canada.
