Motorola ROKR EM25

The third new device released by Motorola is Motorola ROKR EM25, a sleek slider equipped with a built-in MP3 player and FM radio, that also has a special music key and music controls, an integrated RDS, FMShare feature and SONGID technology. Music and listening features include a speakerphone, Bluetooth wireless technology and a universal 3.5 mm jack for headphones. It also comes with 11 hours of music playback while in Airplane Mode feature.

Motorola ROKR EM28

Another new device from Motorola, is the Motorola ROKR EM28, which is equipped with 3D sound effects. Having a clamshell design, this phone comes with an audio equalizer that provides 11 pre-set music genres, as well as with the Airplane Mode which plays music for approximately 11 hours of music playback.

Music can be controlled by using the touch-sensitive keys that appear only when needed. The phone also has an external screen that shows the name of the artist and song without opening the flip. It also comes with RDS technology, FMShare, and SONGID technology.

Motorola ROKR EM30

As I have already mentioned in a previous article, Motorola came with three new ROKR devices. Here is the first one, Motorola ROKR EM30 which is equipped with the ModeShift technology, and has a keyboard that illuminates red when in Music Mode, and blue when in Phone Mode. It also comes with a 2.0-megapixel camera with 8x digital zoom and auto-focus.

This phone is able to download music from about 200 online music stores worldwide, and is also equipped with an FM radio, Radio Data System technology,a built-in speaker, stereo Bluetooth wireless technology, and CrystalTalk technology.

Three New Motorola ROKRs

Yesterday, at SCHAUMBURG, Motorola Inc. presented its three new ROKR music devices, having different styles and nice prices, for music fans. The new devices are MOTOROKR EM30, which is a candybar phone that uses the ModeShift technology, ROKR EM28, a clamshell phone equipped with sonic features and touch-sensitive keys, and ROKR EM25, a slider device that has FM radio sharing capabilities.

Even if these devices come in different styles, they share some features: GSM technology, multiple digital music formats including MP3, FM radio with RDS, industry-standard connectors, including a universal 3.5mm jack, and stereo Bluetooth wireless technology.

Motorola ROKR EM30 is both a mobile phone and a music player. It is equipped with Motorola’s ModeShift technology, which illuminates the keyboard: when in music mode, red keys illuminate, and when in phone mode, a brilliant blue keypad appears. This device is also equipped with other useful features, like high-fidelity audio and second-fast MP3 downloads for listening the favorite tunes, as well as the Radio Data System technology. It also comes with a 3.5mm stereo headset jack, and Windows Media Player 11.

Motorola ROKR EM28 comes in a clamshell form, offers access to a music-player and has touch-sensitive keys that allow users to control music. The name of the artist and song are shown in the front of the phone, without even opening the flip. This device also has sonic features, like the 3D sound effect that gives music a surround-sound quality, the audio equalizer that provides 11 pre-set music genres, including rock, reggae and pop. Users can also boost the bass up to nine decibels.

Motorola ROKR EM25, a sleek, quality device, also comes with a music player, being equipped with access to a music library, and a built-in FM radio. The phone comes with a special music key so that users can simply access stored music and familiar music controls. It also has the FMShare feature for sharing a favorite station, and SONGID technology to identify a song.

Motorola ROKR EM30 is expected to be first launched in Taiwan, and then in other markets during the quarter, while Motorola ROKR EM28 and Motorola ROKR EM25 will be available later during this quarter around the globe.

Motorola MOTO U9

Motorola has just released the new stylish phone, MOTO U9, a phone with a nice fashion look. Motorola MOTO U9 is now available for GSM networks in the U.S.A.

This phone is a sleek clamshell phone, having a metallic gloss finish and it comes with animated screen savers. These screen savers are special as they seem to be floating across the phone’s external display. The external display also serves as a touch sensitive screen, having digital keys that let users control the music player without opening the phone. Music features also include one-touch access to music library, the ability to pause music when answering calls, Microsoft Windows Media Player 11, music player that supports files like Windows WMAv10 plus Janus DRM, MP3, AAC, AAC+ and AAC+ enhanced, music download from 200 on-line music stores, and stereo Bluetooth wireless technology.

The other features of MOTO U9 include: a 25MB internal memory, and an optional microSD memory card up to 4GB storage; CrystalTalk technology, voice recognition, dialing and talking features; a 2.0-megapixel camera with 8x zoom, multi-shot feature, video capture and playback; MMS, SMS, WVIM and Push E-Mail messaging.

Motorola MOTO U9 will be available in Pink and Purple, at about $275.99.

Motorola Adventure V750

Motorola and Verizon Wireless announced a few days ago the new Motorola AdventureV750, a Push to Talk phone, also designed for the most extreme conditions. The phone is already available through business sales channels and online, at www.verizonwireless.com

Motorola Adventure V750 is equipped with resistance at shock, vibration, dust, solar radiation, high-temperature storage, high and low temperature operation, and altitude. It also has a large 2.2-inch high-resolution internal display and a 1.6-inch external display. The Push to Talk service allows customers to communicate with one person or a group of people; in this way, people can expect: Network reliability, Presence information and Online enterprise contact management tool.

Motorola Adventure V750’s most important features are: V CAST Music with Rhapsody; Dedicated external music keys for easy access to music; Stereo Bluetooth wireless technology; Mobile IM and chat capabilities; Mobile Web; Media Center; V CAST Video; a 2.0 megapixel camera; a 2.5 mm headset jack; Text, picture and video messaging capabilities and microSD card memory port with up to 8 GB support.

Motorola Adventure V750 is available at the price of $99.99, but a corporate discount pricing is available.

Motorola ROKR E8

On July 7, T-Mobile launched the new Motorola ROKR E8, a music phone with ModeShift technology. The phone has a modern style, a high-gloss front, aluminum soft touch back, spun metal side keys and engraved banding.

The phone has a smooth surface and uses ModeShift technology, which transforms from music player to phone only with the touch of a button. In this way, the phone keypad disappears and the control keys for the music player appear. The ROKR E8 also brings the FastScroll navigation wheel. This wheel scrolls through music, contacts, calendar or multimedia content.

When in Music Mode, the sound is given through a 3D stereo feature that enhances two-channel audio and an on-board equalizer. Music can be listened on the built-in speaker, with a Bluetooth stereo headset, or a wired headset plugged into the 3.5mm jack. The ROKR E8 also features an FM radio and support for Song ID, a 2GB internal memory which can store up to 1,500 songs, USB 2.0., and also Windows Media Player 11.

In Phone Mode, this device uses CrystalTalk technology and it can receive calls while downloading, playing music, messaging, surfing the Web or taking pictures. Motorola ROKR E8 has the dimensions of 115 x 53 x 11 mm, weights 100 g, has an internal antenna, a memory of 2 GB, a main screen of 262000 colors (TFT) an 240 x 320 pixels and a camera of 2 MP, with multi-shot and video recorder. It also features an MP3 player, FM radio, wallpapers, screensavers, themes, games, and messaging via SMS, EMS, MMS, E-Mail, chat and predictive text. It is equipped with Bluetooth connectivity, high-speed data, and PC Sync, but it has no GPS.

Motorola ROKR E8 is available from July 7 at select T-Mobile retail stores and online.

Motorola RAZR2 V9x

The new Motorola RAZR2 V9x was released for At&T and it is a phone made of stainless steel with metal finishes. It is equipped with a large external display and music can be played through touch-sensitive music keys.Videos can be shared with the help of AT&T Video Share. The phone uses CrystalTalk technology which helps users to be heard in a crowd. It also features high-speed HSDPA technology which connects to the Internet at 3.6 Mbps.

Motorola RAZR2 V9x runs on a GSM 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900 / UMTS 2100 network, has an internal antenna, and a microSD / TransFlash expandable memory. It also has a main screen of 262000 colors (TFT) and 240 x 320 pixels, and an external screen of 262000 colors (TFT) and 240 x 320 pixels. The phone is also equipped with a 2 megapixel camera, with 8X Zoom, Video Recorder and Video Share.

Other features include Mp3 player, speakerphone, wallpapers, screensavers, MP3 ringtones, themes and games. Messaging comes with SMS, EMS, MMS, E-Mail, Chat and predictive text. This device also features WAP, Bluetooth connectivity, high-speed data, GPS and PC Sync. Some information or features are still unknown.

Motorola Kodak ZN5

A new Motorola device is ready to hit the market, this time in colaboration with Kodak. The new Motorola Kodak has a 5 megapixel camera, and we already have some pictures for you.

The new phone is also named ZN5 and the most important feature is the 5 megapixel camera with autofocus and Xenon flash, and also a LED flash. The camera can shoot in RAW mode, even having binned RAW-produces lower resolution photos but preserves the color depth- a feature that’s really rare.

Motorola ZN5 runs on the Linux-based OS and it features a QVGA screen. The phone is only 11.8mm thick. It is also equipped with a 3.5mm standard audio jack, a USB slot, and it also has a morphing keypad.

New Motorola handests

It seems that Motorola is coming with a lot of new handsets. Maybe we have already mentioned about some of them, but now we have a bit more information, and there are also brand new devices, not mentioned before.

So, here are some of the most important cell phones, just released-or soon-, by Motorola.

Motorola A810 is equipped with a 2.2-inch 262K color TFT display with QVGA resolution and it also has a 2 megapixel camera. The phone runs on a 200 MHz TI OMAP850 processor. It has stereo Bluetooth and USB 2.0 connectivity, FM radio, a 3.5 mm audio jack, a tri-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE support, and a microSD memory card. The phone measures 104.85 x 50.8 x 13.5mm and weighs 100 grams.

Motorola VE75, a dual SIM slider is equipped with a large 2.6-inch 262K color TFT display which has a 16:9 ratio and a WQVGA resolution (240 x 400 pixels). It also has dual SIM functionality, in this way allowign to operate with two SIM cards in the same time. the phone also has a 2 megapixel camera and Bluetooth connectivity. Motorola VE75 measures 110 x 50 x 18.9mm and weighs 120 grams.

The next one is Motorola A1600 MING, already mentioned some time ago. The phone features GPS, WLAN and a 3 megapixel auto focus camera. It also has a 2.4-inch 262K TFT display. Motorola A1600 supports GSM/GPRS/EDGE, measures 98.5 x 53.4 x 19.50mm and weights 120 grams.

Motorola A1800 MING is another handest which is special by the fact that it works simultaneously in GSM and CDMA x1 networks. Motorola A1800 MING is also equipped with a GPS receiver and has a touchscreen of 2.4-inch QVGA TFT display. It’s measures are 95.3 x 52.5 x 24.95mm and it weights 132 grams.

Next, Motorola L800t is another dual-network phone and it is the first TD-SCDMA handset made by Motorola. The phone also features GSM/GPRS support, a 1.9-inch 176 x 220 pixel TFT display, a 2 megapixel camera and Bluetooth connectivity. It measures 49 x 112 x 15mm and weights 110 grams.

And the last one is Motorola ZN5, also called “Texel”. It has only 11.9mm and it features a 5 megapixel camera. It also runs on the Montavista Linux 2.6.1 OS, has a 500MHz Freescale SCMA11 processor,and a 2.4-inch 262K color TFT display with QVGA resolution. ZN5 also sports Bluetooth connectivity and TV-out port.
