The good news about the future Modu 2 is that it will feature touchscreen capabilities and the HSDPA support; a QWERTY jacket is also promised for the new device. Of course, nothing is official yet, we only have some rumors and 2010 is still quite far.

We do hope that the Modu 2 will be better than the first Modu, which was sold in only 1000 units and only three jackets are available for it. We’ll keep you up-to-date with these modular handsets.

The GPush app comes with the following features: instant Gmail new message notifications directly on the iPhone; a simple process, all you have to do is download the app and then decide on how you want to be notified; improved battery life; possibility to see E-mails on the standby screen, like text messages; SSL Security Certificate is used to ensure password security for the GPush users.

The game also comes with an interactive showcase, called My Room, which can be customized during the game. After the short introduction, My Room appears and you can play immediately with the Hello Kitty. The game brings you 10 levels and some of them are locked.

The graphics of the game are extraordinary, well polished and the interface is functional. The animations and the special effects are also very good, nicely designed and colorful; the sounds are also very good and the game comes with background musics which can be selected from the Options game menu.

All in all, the Hello Kitty game is a very nice and well polished game; everyone will love it, especially children. The game was developed by ZIO Interactive, and was released on August 6, 2009. The games is 47MB in size, it costs $4.99, and it is available for download from the iTunes App Store.

Called the ‘Japan Texture‘, the cases were created by using special paints and materials, in about four weeks. The picture itself on a case represents a certain period in Japan’s Sengoku Period, and all cases come in fancy wood boxes. And this isn’t all; the case itself comes with its own protective sleeve.

As you can see in the pictures below, the design on the cases is really beautiful, but I am not so sure it’s worth $1,000. Yes….that’s the price of this special edition case. Well, probably the materials and the paint are so expensive…All in all, the idea is good and personally I like how it looks, and users who love Japanese culture and art will surely buy this cases.

Let’s see how this card works. First of all, it goes well with the BlackBerry, which is no surprise. Through Bluetooth, the smartphone and the PC can be locked when the Smart Card reader is out of range; this ensures that only the designated user has access. Via a small LED screen on the back the reader can also provide keys for encrypting e-mail. All these give a double authentication process which is demanded by a lot of high-security companies.

The new Smart Card reader will support PIV, CAC, Safenet 330, and ISO 7816-compliant smart cards, and its availability is probably in September. We’re still waiting for more information about this card. Stay with us!

Here’s what the Facebook 3.1 brings for iPhone users and fans: updated news feed; the “Like” possibility; RSVP for Events; Notes, Pages; the possibility to create new photo albums, upload photos to any album, zoom, easier tagging, and profile Pictures albums; a new home screen for easy access, search, and notifications, and the possibility to add favorite contacts and pages to the home screen; improved notifications; call or text directly from the Friends page; interrupted messages will be restored.

Seems interesting and Facebook users will surely notice the changes. The Facebook 3.0 version should be available for download very soon.

The European Camera Phone award went to the Samsung i8910 Omnia HD mobile phone. EISA considered that the 8 megapixel camera, the 720p/24fps video and the AMOLED screen were the strongest parts of this device and enough to take the prize.

The European Music Phone of the year is the Sony Ericsson W995. This was quite expected, as the W995 comes with special music features like TrackID, walkman player, shake control, stereo speakers, and many others, as well as with an affordable price, aspect that was taken into consideration by EISA.

The European Business Phone award was taken by the NokiaE75. The EISA commission consideres that the Nokia E75 is a very well designed device, that it has great communication features, is robust and has a long battery life; all these are very important for this category and the E75 has them all.

The European Smartphone award goes to… Apple iPhone 3GS, which is probably the greatest step forward, this year. The scratch-resistant phone comes with 3G, Wi-Fi, a 3.15 megapixel camera, iPhone OS, Google Maps and many other good features.

And finally, the European Green award was won by the LG KM900 Arena, the eco-friendly handset. Lately, more and more mobile phone manufacturers created such devices, so the EISA couldn’t ignore this subject. The LG KM900 Arena won because it is the only “green” device that comes with a complete list of features.

All in all, these are this year’s winners whether you like it or not. If you want, you can compare them with last year’s winners.

The TomTom SatNav for iPhone is available in four packages, depending on the region: New Zealand-$94.99, U.S & Canada-$99.99, Australia-79.99 Australian dollars, and TomTom Western Europe $139.99. The Car Kit was previously spotted, at about the price of $200, but as I was saying, nothing was confirmed about it.

We hope we’ll get more news and information about the TomTom iPhone app, but until then we at least now it is official and available.

Czech Republic was really in need of data services, so the building of a 3G network is a priority right now. And choosing Nokia-Siemens Networks was wise, as services will be of high quality; on the other side, Nokia-Siemens is also glad to extend their partnership.

T-Mobile will also get network integration services, the NetAct network management system, and an upgrade of the central network in order to support advanced 3G services; all these provided of course by Nokia-Siemens Networks.

The process of T-Mobile’s 3G network will start this autumn, in Prague, and it is supposed to be finished by the end of the year.
