Samsung E1107 Solar Guru

We stay with Samsung and we announce you that they have launched a solar powered device, the Samsung E1107 Solar Guru, a low-end phone. Also called Crest Solar, it is the first phone of thins kind. After charging for about an hour under the sun, it will give you 5-10 minutes of talk time. Well, it’s not too much, eventually you must charge it with the traditional charger; but this could be very useful if you go in an area where you don’t have access to electricity (camping in the woods for example)….;)

Features and specifications: GSM 900 / 1800 2G network; Display: CSTN, 65K colors, 128 x 128 pixels, 1.52 inches; speakerphone; Memory with phonebook, and call records; GPRS, which is the only data feature; WAP; FM radio; MP3 ringtones, flashlight; organizer; voice memo; mobile tracker; solar cell battery; 105.2 x 44.2 x 16.4 mm, and 85g. These are the only features this phone comes with.

The Samsung E1107 Solar Guru is already available in India, at the price of $59, in Black color option. It will be available in other parts of the world later this month.

We’ve just told you about the Samsung Omnia, but we are glad to announce you that Samsung will also release another device: the Samsung S8000 Jet, another touchscreen bar phone. It will also come equipped with a lot of features, like a 5 megapixel camera, Wi-Fi, GPS, sound effects, and many others.

LG Versa at Verizon Wireless

A new LG device is available through LG and Verizon Wireless: the LG Versa. The phone comes with 3D home screen, favorite features and applications, accelerometer, a 2 megapixel camera, and QWERTY keyboard.

Features and specifications: 1.9 GHz CDMA PCS, 800 MHz CDMA bands; a 3-inch TFT LCD screen, a 0.94-inch external Monochrome OLED LCD, and a detachable QWERTY keypad, as well as a virtual keyboard; integrated music player; Bluetooth connectivity; microSD memory port; visual voicemail; HTML web browsing; a 2 megapixel camera, with flash, camcorder, self-timer, normal and panorama shot styles, various color effects, white balance, a dedicated camera/video key and with 1600×1200, 1280×960, 800×400, 640×480, and 320×240 resolutions; V CAST music Rhapsody support, and V CAST video capability; E-Mail; built-in accelerometer.

The newest device announced by Sony Ericsson is the Sony Ericsson W995, coming with full connectivity features, Wi-Fi, GPS and an 8 megapixel camera.

The other new device announced by Samsung is the Samsung S5230, which is thinner than the S5600, it is GPRS/EDGE only and it is more impressive. It also runs on TouchWiz.

Samsung has just announced two new devices, and one of them is the Samsung S5600. The new phone runs on TouchWiz UI, has a large touch screen display and a 3.2 megapixel camera.

Motorola A1210 MING

The new Motorola A1210 MING is the successor of the A1200 MING, a device that came out a few years ago. The new phone comes with a larger screen, a 3 megapixel camera and EDGE.

Features and specifications: tri-band GSM; a 2.8-inch touch display with QVGA resolution; a 3 megapixel camera which is better than the one the A1200 has; FM radio; 64MB internal memory, expandable via microSD slot; EDGE support; Bluetooth and USB connectivity, and Linux-based OS.

The A1210’s design is the same with the A1200’s, and with flippable transparent lid.

The Motorola A1210 MING will be first available in China, later this year, but pricing is still unknown.

Motorola MC55

The new Motorola MC55 belongs to the EDA (Enterprise Digital Assistants) devices and it is a business-based phone. It is a Windows Mobile device that comes with Wi-Fi, GPS with real-time fleet management, geo-fencing and bread-crumbing for dispatchers, WLAN and QWERTY keyboard. The new phone will come in two variants: the MC5590 and the MC5574.

LG KM900 Arena comes in Europe
