No Match for the Chinese Mobile Production Rate

Although Taiwan was more curious about China’s mobile phone business than the Chinese, we can only thank the Market Intelligence Center to have brought in front of our eyes at least one revelation: more than half of all mobile phones sold worldwide in the second quarter of 2007 were made in China. It doesn’t really matter if the handsets are mostly based on GSM and not 3G networks because the result still stays the same: China’s working force beats all odds. One look at our day-to-day electronic devices should clear the waters, as we seem to be surrounded by three small words that speak for about 1 billion people’s work: “made in China”.

Now, it’s up to you if you choose to ignore the fact or just embrace it, either way there is no turning back and all we can say to fit the Asian picture are two famous phrases: “the more, the merrier” and “if you can’t beat them, join them”. At least this principle should bring a push to the European nativity rate.
