Nokia has just launched Mobile Games Innovation Challenge and the prize is 70,000 EUR! This programm was designed to encourage people to develop new game concepts, in order to help the mobile gaming industry reach into a new and an exciting future.
The sponsoring of the contest is made by Nokia Publishing. By this contest, they are inviting any developer to come up and submit mobile gaming concepts, but they ahve to rely on NGage or Java ME platforms. These can submit seceral concepts, not just one. Winners will be selected experts, based on innovation, fun, execution and potential on the market.
The first winner will receive 40,000 EUR, the second 20,000 EUR, andthe third 10,000 EUR. Even more, first three developers will be offered contracts with Nokia Publishing.
