The app is official and it is based on notifications, and with it users can receive real-time alerts for 5 of their favorite player. With this app you will get real-time notifications, with the beginning and the end of the round, scores, and of course the conclusions; and alerts are really easy to handle (turn on/off, change,etc). You can also see current news, round recaps, scorecards, and a lot of other things.
The golf app is available at the App Store for $1.99, but the US Open and The Masters are free.
