Review: LG Rumor White

LG Rumor is a candy bar phone which focuses on messaging. This device seems to be easy and fun. Messaging and more messaging with voice calling and limited Web and media functionality thrown in. It has a rugged design, QWERTY board, auto-rotating dispaly and it is the best choice for those who use texting a lot, as well as voice calling.

The slide-out QWERTY thumbboard is specific for this device, as well as the auto-rotation feature which kicks in immediately. The phone also has different messaging options, like integrated IM, E-Mail, SMS, MMS, and Voicemail software. It also phone applications, like WAP-only Web browsing, media player with microSD memory card slot and a 2.5mm stereo headphone jack. LG Rumor is also equipped with Stereo Bluetooth support, A-GPS with voice-enhanced navigation services, and an optional $2.99/mo feature called “Social Zone”. Other features: 2” Color LCD, 176 x 220 resolution, 262,000 Colors display; a 1.3 megapixel camera; size of 109 x 51 x 17.8 mm, and weight of 117 g.
