Samsung has just unveiled the new Windows Mobile smartphone Samsung SGH-i900 during a Dutch telecom, “Televisie 2008″.
There have been different rumours about this phone, but Samsung confirmed that SGH-i900 is running Windows Mobile 6.1. Most of the features of this phone are still unknown or still not confirmed. What we know is that this device will be equipped with at least triband GSM/GPRS/EDGE, singleband UMTS/HSDPA, Bluetooth 2.0 and EDR, and WiFi b/g connectivity. Rumours say that it will also have GPS and FM radio, but it’s not confirmed yet.
The phone is expected to have 3.5″ screen with Windows Mobile resolution of 240×400 pixel. The camera is supposed to be with autofocus and of 5 megapixel. The new phone will also support a memory of 8 GB.
The date of the release and the price are of course still unknown, but it is rumoured that the release will be sometime during the summer. We’ll be back with news.
