Sony will be officially launching the W880i at this year’s 3GSM mobile phone conference.
Unconfirmed news rumor that the Sony Ericsson W880i release date will be February 23rd 2007 in the UK, priced £300.
For the price, you also get a 1GB M2 card. The W880i phone is an ultra-slim, dark, metallic Walkman phone having the following features: a TFT, 1.5 inches, 320×240 resolution display, with 256 colors, 32MB shared memory, GPRS, 2.0 bluetooth, 2.0 USB, Memory Stick Micro support and Java MIDP 2.0, enhanced Walkman Player 2.0, Quad-band (MHz: 900, 1800, 1900), UMTS; a 2MP camera, with 1600×1200 pixels, CMOS sensor as well as music playback. The W880i weights 80 grams and is about 102 x 46.5 x 9.4 mm.
As for the battery, it’s of 7 hours talk time.
