Mobile Phones Reviews and Tips

We haven’t heard about it for a while, but it looks like Gigabyte is going to release a new Windows Mobile touchscreen handset, the new Gigabyte GSmart MS802. The phone will feature 3G, Wi-Fi, Windows Mobile Professional, and a 3.15 megapixel camera. The phone is not yet available, but at least we know its official list of specs.

Features and specifications: GSM 900 / 1800 / 1900 2G, and HSDPA 2100 3G networks; Display: TFT resistive touchscreen, 65K colors, 240 x 320 pixels, 2.8 inches; speakerphone; Memory: 128 MB RAM, 256 MB ROM internal, microSD card, and unlimited entries; GPRS; HSCSD; EDGE; 3G; Wi-Fi; Bluetooth and USB connectivity; a 3.15 megapixel camera, with 2048×1536 pixels, autofocus, and video; Microsoft Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional OS; Marvell PXA270 520MHz processor; WAP, HTML, Push E-Mail; stereo FM radio with RDS; GPS; MP3/eAAC+/WMA/WAV/AMR player, and WMV/MP4/3gp player; Pocket Office; Business card scanner; organizer; T9; 117 x 59.8 x 14.8 mm, and 130g.

The Gigabyte GSmart MS802 will be available in Iron Gray color option, sometime in the third quarter of 2009. Pricing is still unknown.

Unlike the MS820, the Gigabyte g-Smart S1200, is a new release. Some supplimentary features for this model are: HSUPA to the connectivity set and a larger 3.1-inch WVGA touchscreen screen.

Features and specifications for Gigabyte g-Smart S1200: Flash UI plug-in, Qulacomm 7200A 528MHz CPU with 128 MB RAM, 3 megapixels camera with autofocus, HSDPA/HSUPA, Wi-Fi, bluetooth 2.0, mini-USB 2.0, 256 MB ROM/128 MB RAM, microSD, push Email, Office Mobile, Windows Live Messenger, 1010 mAh battery.

The OS for Gigabyte g-Smart S1200 is Windows Mobile 6.1/6.5 Professional.
