It seems that Samsung have officially announced the availability and pricing of the Samsung i7110 smartphone.

The phone will be released in December, in Germany, and then in the rest of the Europe, at the price of 500 Euro. We’ve already mentioned about Samsung i7110, but I’d like to refresh your memory with its most important features.

Features and specifications: smartphone; GSM 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900 2G network, UMTS 900 / 2100 3G network; OLED, 256K colors display, with 240 x 320 pixels,and 2.6 inches; MP3 and polyphonic ringtones; microSD, with up to 16GB, and 50 MB of internal memory; GPRS; HSCSD; Wi-Fi; Bluetooth and USB connectivity; EDGE; 3G; Symbian OS v9.3; a 5 megapixel camera, with autofocus, video, flash, face detection, and a secondary camera; aGPS; MP3/eAAC+/WMA/AMR/RealAudio player; FM radio; built-in handsfree; voice memo/dial; 118 x 52 x 12.9 mm, and 125g.

Yesterday, Samsung announced the new Samsung I7110, a slim smartphone that is based on S60 and Symbian OS.

The I7110 comes equipped with a 2.6-inch AMOLED screen, geo-tagging and navigation capabilities. The Pedestrian Navigator makes the phone run in pedestrian and driving modes, in 10 cities: Amsterdam, Barcelona, Berlin, Helsinki, London, Madrid, Milan, Munich, Paris and Rome. It also has an FM transmitter that allows drivers to receive voice navigation via car speakers. Another feature of this smartphone is the 5 megapixel camera, with auto-focus, LED flash, Smile Shot and Blink Shot functions, and video recording, with DivX support.

The I7110 is based on Symbian OS v9.3 and S60 3rd Edition, and users can choose a lot of applications from the S60 applications library. The phone also comes with an 8-way optical mouse that offers mobile browsing; HSDPA and Wi-Fi connectivity; 50MB of internal memory with a microSD slot; a 1200 mAh battery with up to 11 hours of talk time.

Samsung I7110 will be available from November 2008, in Russia, and after that in other parts of the world.
