Research In Motion (RIM), makers of the addictive BlackBerry line, has finally and officially entered the Russian market. Russia has finally caught up with today’s technology and will be offering RIM’s staid, business suit-friendly BlackBerry 8700g on Vimpelcom’s network.
After the Russian security agency’s approval, British American Tobacco has placed the first order for a fleet of BlackBerry 8700g handsets. The BlackBerry 8700 is the same addictive handset that cracked the Chinese market, and represents the archetype of the BlackBerry lineup.

Vimpelcom brings BlackBerry to Russia
