This week, at London, LG made some serious promises about some special devices: new camera phones of 10 megapixel, HD video and even speech recognition GPS technology. It sound really nice, but the world will see them only in 2009, if LG keeps its promises about these features. LG also focused on its newest mobile phone, the KC-910, which is also great, coming equipped with an 8 megapixel camera, image and video editing tools, Dolby sound and DivX compatibility.
It seems that mobile manufacturers are focusing more and more on the camera for the phones, as they are always improving this feature. 8 megapixel devices already exist, Samsung have announced a 9 megapixel device, and now LG makes promises of a 10 megapixel camera.
The improvement of HD technology is another important aspect, as manufacturers want this feature into the camera phones; in this way, a quite simple phone may turn into a device able to shoot HD videos as well as shooting with a 10 megapixel camera.
Well, I think we should wait and hope that they will keep their promises and next year we will see this unique device with our own eyes. I am not sure whether the pictures are real or it is just the idea, but it looks interesting. 😉
