Home News ASUS P565

It is said that ASUS is working on a VGA touchsreen WinMo smartphone: the ASUS P565. It is also rumoured that this device will be announce in October, which is good news.

But ASUS P565 will feature just a single band of 3G support for UMTS/HSPA networks and will work on the 2100Mhz frequency. But it will also feature a Marvell Tavor processor, that works alongside 256MB ROM and 128MB RAM, which will power the Windows Mobile 6.1 OS.

ASUS P565 will be equipped with integrated GPS receiver, WiFi radio, Bluetooth 2.0 + EDR connectivity, microSD card slot, a 3 megapixel camera, and a 2.8-inch VGA display (480×640). With all these, I think ASUS P565 would be a worthy VGA touchscreen WinMo device.

These may not be all the features of this device, as there is a lot of time until it will be launched. Availability and price are also unknown.
