It looks like Scartel and HTC will launch the HTC MAX 4G, in Russia, by November the 26th. This device is considered to be the first smartphone that comes with integrated GSM and WiMAX radios.
Main features and specifications: smartphone; tri-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE:900/1800/1900 MHz, Yota Mobile WiMAX 2,5-2.7 GHz network; Qualcomm ESM7206A 528 MHz processor; runs on Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional; memory of: ROM-256MB, RAM-288MB, and Flash-8 GB; a display of 3.8-inch TFT-LCD flat touch-sensitive screen, with a resolution of 480 x 800 WVGA; TouchFLO 3D; GPS; VoIP, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and HTC ExtUSB connectivity; a 5 megapixel camera with autofocus, and a secondary VGA camera; accelerometers; proximity sensor; FM-radio; 113.5mm X 63.1mm X 13.9mm, and 151g.
Quite an interesting device the HTC MAX 4G…and it will be available very soon. But the price is still unknown. We’ll surely be back with more info.
