The new Motorola MC55 belongs to the EDA (Enterprise Digital Assistants) devices and it is a business-based phone. It is a Windows Mobile device that comes with Wi-Fi, GPS with real-time fleet management, geo-fencing and bread-crumbing for dispatchers, WLAN and QWERTY keyboard. The new phone will come in two variants: the MC5590 and the MC5574.

The two Motorola MC55 EDAs will be available in Black color option, in the second or third quarter of 2009. Pricing is still unknown.
