Nokia N86 gets firmware update

It looks like Nokia have just released a firmware update for its camera phone Nokia N86 8MP. The new software, version number 11.043, will bring you better images for the camera, especially for the video recordings, and the low light pictures will also be improved.

But this is not the only improvement that will take place; Nokia Maps 3.0 will also be replaced by the newest version, 3.0.1, and the phone will be greater in landscape mode. Downloads will also be replaced by OVI Store, the launcher being preloaded.

Nokia also announced photographer David Bailey’s exhibition, which is part of the “Alive At Night” campaign. And yes…al the images will be taken by night with the Nokia N86. The exhibition will take place in London, on the 27th of August, starting with 10AM until 5PM the next day.

I am sure that the night-shot-show will be extraordinary, it will be a great opportunity for the N86 to show what it can do. If you happen to live in London or just be there, I strongly advise you to be part of the exhibition. 🙂
