Nokia has just unveiled 7 new devices: 7100 Supernova, 5130 XpressMusic, 2323 classic, 2330 classic, 2320 classic, 1661 and 1202. All these devices are affordable and at a low price.
The Nokia 7100 Supernova is quite a stylish device, coming with a 1.3 megapixel camera, FM radio, a 65K QVGA screen, Bluetooth connectivity, and Ovi services, and two different dual-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE versions (850/1900 MHz and 900/1800 MHz). The phone will be available in Jelly Red, Fresh Blue and Black, and it will appear in the fourth quarter of 2008, at the estimated price of 75 euro.
The Nokia 5130 XpressMusic is based on music and it comes equipped with dedicated music keys, a standard 3.5mm audio jack, FM radio, a 2 megapixel camera, with focus, a 2″ QVGA display, Bluetooth and USB connectivity, a microSD card slot, and quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE. The phone will appear in the first quarter of 2009, in Red and Blue, at the price of 90 euro.
Among the ‘classics’, the Nokia 2330 classic, Nokia 2323 classic and the Nokia 2320 classic were announced. All of them have a great design, but quite modest features. Each of them will come with a 65K color display with a resolution of 128 x 160 pixels. The Nokia 2323 and 2330 classic will also have FM radio, and the Nokia 2330 will also have a built-in VGA camera and Bluetooth connectivity. These devices will be available in the second quarter of 2009, at the prices of: 50 euro (the 2330 classic), while the other two, at 40 euro.
The Nokia 1661 is the cheapest among all these new devices. It will come equipped with flashlight, an FM radio and multiple phonebooks, display with a resolution of 128 x 160 pixels and able of showing up to 65K colors, and two dual-band GSM versions (850/1900 MHz and 900/1800 MHz). It will be available in the first quarter of 2009, at the price of 30 euro.
And the Nokia 1202 will be the most affordable device. It will come with extended battery life, a flashlight and a separate phonebooks for up to five users, it will also be available in two dual band versions (850/1900 MHz and 900/1800 MHz), in Midnight Black and Violet Blue. It will probably cost around 25 euro.
