Images og the long-rumored mid-range Android smartphone, the Samsung Jasper (aka SCH-I200) have leaked on Twitter. What is more, a brief rundown of the purported specifications of the device was also “offered” on Twitter. It looks like the Jasper will apparently arrive with LTE connectivity and a high-end Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 MSM8960 SoC, the likes of which you’ll find in the American variants of HTC and Samsung’s flagship smartphones, the One X and Galaxy S III.
It must be mentioned that a dated WVGA (800 x 480) unit of unknown proportions is going to characterize the device. The phone will run Android 4.0 and it will also have a dedicated key for multitasking in place of the traditional search button, and a redesigned ICS-like menu key. This is definitely going to appeal to many potential buyers and owners of the phone. As far as the release date is concerned, there is no official information, but it definitely cannot be too far away.
