Yesterday, the Samsung M8800 has been announced. This phone is an 8 megapixel full touchscreen device-the second, made by Samsung- and it is also called Brensson or Pixon.
The Samsung M8800 is not a smartphone and it doesn’t have a keyboard, but it does have a 3.2-inch touchscreen display. It also comes with the same TouchWiz interface as Samsung Omnia and Samsung F480 Tocco, but the difference is that this one also has Weather and Google widgets.
The main features and specification of Samsung M8800 are : Quad-band GSM, tri-band HSDPA; size of 107.9×54.6×14.9mm, and weight of 110 g; a 3.2-inch touch screen display (240 x 400 pixels); an 8 megapixel camera, with auto focus, face recognition with smile detection and blink detection, WDR (wide dynamic range), ASR (advanced shake reduction), GPS geotagging, ISO 1600, WVGA (720×480 pixels) and VGA (640 x 480 pixels) @30fps video recording; GPS; Accelerometer; DivX playback; FM radio with RDS; microSD card slot; Bluetooth connectivity; Landscape virtual QWERTY keyboard; Handwriting recognition; ShoZu integration – direct image and video upload; Office document viewer; but it doesn’t have Wi-Fi functionality.
Well, I think this device is equipped with very good features. Samsung M8800 will be launched all over starting with the 10th of November at a starting price of 550 Euro.
