Samsung S5230 Star: review

Released in May 2009, Samsung’s S5230 Star is truly deserving its name, as it is a very appreciated device, good-looking, with good and useful features and Samsung has already sold a lot of Star handsets. The Star, which is also known as Tocco Lite, comes with features like a 3 megapixel camera, DNSe, TouchWiz, and many others. Unfortunately, the device lacks an important feature, the 3G.

Features and specifications: GSM 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900 2G network; Display: TFT resistive touchscreen, 256K colors, 240 x 400 pixels, 3.0 inches, smart unlock, accelerometer, and handwriting recognition; speakerphone, with DNSe; Memory: 50 MB internal, microSD card with up to 16GB, photo contact; GPRS; EDGE; Bluetooth and USB connectivity; a 3 megapixel camera, with 2048×1536 pixels, smile detection, and video; WAP and HTML; stereo FM radio with RDS; MP3/WMA/AAC player, and H.263/H.264/MPEG4 player; Shazam Find Music service; organizer; document viewer; 104 x 53 x 11.9 mm, and 93.5g.
